  28. codes and ROM updates are _not_ interchangeable between manufacturers.
  29. Erasing and burning in a PROM is _not_ an option.  For a start that would
  30. invalidate the OEM's warranty, for another the original PROMs "window"
  31. which may allow reburning would've been already closed by original
  32. manufacture
